Foam Bag
One Thursday morning, I was in the mood to do baby sensory play, but not in the mood to clean up after it. So I decided to make a foam bag.
What you need
- shaving cream (homebrand $2-3 at Woolworths)
- Zip lock bags x 2
- food coloring
So yet again this was another baby sensory play that was easy to make with house hold items.
Before he woke up I had made the bag. It was as simple as spraying the shaving cream into a zip lock bag and adding bursts of food coloring to make it more colorful.
I didn't double bag this foam bag, however I would defiantly recommend it. At first I stuck the foam bag to the window because I wanted to see if he would mush all the colors together. But to be honest he wasn't really interested. He thought it was more of a game to pull if off, so by the third time I just let him have it.
He had more fun trying to eat the bag, then what he did trying to blend the colors. I think I will eventually do this again with him and see if he is more interested in the colors next time.
This bag floated around the house for a day or two, so it was used enough to justify the cost of a shaving cream can. I had actually brought the can for another use, but I will show you that idea soon enough.
